While the primary focus of many advertisements may be to inform and to create awareness, an equally or arguably more important focus is to differentiate and to persuade. The focus of this project was to create a platform that can be used to educate the user; in turn, providing value and ultimately, positioning the product and creating desire.
The product in this case is the BMW 3 Series Sedan. The platform (driven by Flash and ActionScript) is an interactive modal overlay that allows the user to learn about the key features, view the vehicle from every exterior angle, compare it to competitive models, and be generally better informed as to why this vehicle should be a primary consideration when purchasing.
